From Stuck to Rebuilding: A Mental Reset

I’ve been off track mentally.

And honestly, it’s felt like I’ve been sitting on the couch for years, snacks in hand, watching life roll by.

Not literally, but mentally.
I’d stopped doing the things I knew worked.

I let my mental fitness slide, and it showed up in all the usual ways:
Overthinking.
Burnout.
Distraction.
Too many projects, not enough focus.

Here’s the thing.

Just like your physical health, your mental strength needs training.
It’s not something you build once and keep forever.
And I’d stopped doing the work.

I’ve been helping others with this exact thing, but I wasn’t backing myself the same way.

Until a moment of clarity arrived. Not from a book. Not from a mentor.

But from a quiet, unexpected chat with ChatGPT.

I was asking a few questions, and it served up something simple and profound:

"Pause. Find the gaps. Be present."

It landed. Hard. Because that was exactly what I’d stopped doing.

Since then, I’ve stripped things back.
Slowed down.
Focused on one thing at a time.
Let go of the pressure to have it all worked out.

And I’ve started rebuilding.
I’m not back to full strength yet, but I’m on the path.

More focused. More energised. More me.

The quality of my work is better. The quality of my conversations is better. And the best part?

I’m not chasing….things are flowing again.

Presence, it turns out, isn’t just a feel-good word.
It’s a performance tool.
A mindset shift.
A superpower.

So if you’ve been feeling off…if the mental load has been building,
This is your sign to slow down.
To breathe.
To rebuild.

One thing at a time.

If this resonates, let me know.
Have you had a similar experience?
I’d love to hear your story…
