I drifted in my life for nearly 40 years

I had no direction and didn't dare to dream of a better life than getting to the weekends and holidays. It was a life that felt lazy, average, lacking energy and motivation.

But then life had other ideas.

In my drunken haze, I allowed my daughter to roll off the change table and somehow grabbed enough jumpsuit to stop her smashing into the ground face first. My first thought was, "I've got to be better than this for my child.

Then my world came crashing down a few months later when Dad died, and the all too real confirmation that life isn't forever. I was living like it was, like there was no rush and things would take care of themselves. Despite being devastated, it reminded me that I've got to be better!

This is not the life I want for me, my wife or my children. I was sick of feeling tired and average.

The only (rather large) problem was I had no idea how to change and spent the next 6 years spinning my wheels,

Desperate for things to be different but without direction and the knowledge and skills to do anything about it.

It wasn't until I got my first coach that things started to change. Before I worked with him I listened to every piece of audio he had, watched every video and read every article, often cringing because I was sure of two things,

That I would need to pay for a coach which scared me because it was way outside my financial comfort zone,

And that I had so much self-doubt and fear about how changing would negatively impact my life. But when I knew I was ready, I jumped and I am forever grateful that I did.

And like many of my clients say to me, I kept saying to myself, if only I had done this years ago, how different could my life have been!?

But I couldn't take back the past, so I went about creating a new, better future. Starting with creating a clear direction for my life and dreaming big for the first time in my life. And with the direction came energy, came motivation and confidence.
