There are certain things in your life where you're sure you're right. You may have believed it for a long time and gathered plenty of evidence to back it up. But usually what happens is, from a place of confirmation bias, you continue to seek out information and evidence to support what you already believe to be true. That you are right. If you ever find out that perhaps you were wrong you keep that to yourself, cause you don’t want to lose face? When you shift your outlook in life to be open to admitting you were wrong and changing your beliefs the moment new information finds you, You will quieten the loud negative voices in your head almost immediately.
